Peanut Butter!
I love love LOVE <3 Peanut Butter. Preferably Jif… I haven’t had it in about 3 years (I just stopped all the sudden), but I know what I’m missing. I eat it plain, with chocolate, or mixed with yogurt! It’s really good with yogurt! (I tried PB Peach Chobani mix. HEAVENLY!) Thanks so much Hedda for the idea! (www.solskinn88.wordpress.com)
In other news… I got my math test back and got an A! Yay!
Do you have any weird food re-obsessions? What are your accomplishments?

Excuses, excuses, oh, excuses!
I did not run today. It was my first nine-hour day in four days and I was tired. I keep making excuses. I feel so BAD! I’ll probably run this weekend for sure! (that’s horrible sentence structure, and contradictions! GASP! now it haunts me..)
Do any of you who view/comment have any advice for not falling into the Pit of Darkness and Despair that is Excuses??

(On a happy note: Ceasar chicken for dinner! What are you having?)

I’m so excited. TTFN!

shoes
I had practice for some May Celebration tomorrow, and we had to wear shoes as opposed to our regular clothes. Most girls were wearing heels, but a few of us were wearing flats. I’m short, and I can’t walk in heels. Hence I wore flats.
My feet were KILLING me! They hurt so much. I thought I’d never be happier to see dirty bucks again! (I didn’t run today, because my feet hurt and I have to get my hair done for tomorrow!)

Soup kitchen runners
I went on a field trip today and I saw a bunch of people running. You know the “punchbuggy game” with the VW bugs and you see a red one, punch someone, and say “red one!” ? I did that but with runner’s shirts! (ex. “white shirt!”) I also used it if they were running, walking, etc.
At the Soup Kitchen today, I gave some food to this man. He saod “Can I have 60 dinners just for me?” and I laughed. He said I had a beautiful smile! That MADE MY DAY!! It just shows you what you can do if you smile. so SMILE, everyone!

Ouch and Marathons…
As mentioned in earlier post (see below) my shoulder hurts like crap. Still. It’s been 3 days. Anyway, I’m not going to run until Wednesday, when my school runs the mile. I’ll just do half a mile instead…
EDIT: Just got home from school. My teacher (she runs and is TOTALLY AWESOME!!) is going to do a marathon in June, and I might do a 5k this summer.. We’ll talk. I promised myself I’d do one before I’m 30. So I better start running!

12 minutes!
That’s right! I ran my first school mile in TWELVE MINUTES! (instead of the usual 14!) Seven of us wanted to get it over with, and we did. You have to go up a hill, twice around a loop, twice around a smaller loop. A nice girl, M. , ran a second time around the small circle so we (Sarah and I) wouldn’t be lonely! YOU ROCK!! I hurt my shoulder (the right one) today as a result of pushing myself. What is it with me and my shoulders!!?? It hurts really bad…

Any of you get shoulder pain from Running? (of all things…)

My First “Official” Run!
Sarah (www.sarah-lives.blogspot.com) and I went for our FIRST official run about 10 minutes ago, and I just got back. We ran around a grassy field (the baseball field was occupied by some people) and we ran like wildwomen 3-4 times. Sarah also brought her dog, Bree.
On the way, I sang “Somebody to Love” (the Glee version) and a little of “Only Hope” (Mandy Moore, A Walk To Remember) It was fun! I hope you all get a chance to run and enjoy the weather!!
